This piece has a lively trap-beat sound that will have your young orchestra head bopping and rhythm rocking. Students will learn to play eighth notes, quarter notes, half notes, and a quick-and-easy syncopated rhythm. Cellos and basses will learn to switch between pizzicato and arco. Pedagogically, teachers can focus on call-and-response between lower strings and higher strings, playing in unison, and counting multiple rests.

The piece starts in G major and segues into a contrasting B section in E minor, resuming back to the original melody with style and grace.
